Hello from Fredrika

A winter sunset in Kotlik

Kotlik River

Hi, I am Fredrika Prince originally from Kotlik, Alaska.  I relocated to Anchorage in 2018 with my four daughters.  I completed my AAS degree in Accounting and Business Administration in December of 2021 from Alaska Career College.

In Kotlik, I worked with the Tribal IGAP and I wrote the Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan (ISWMP) in 2006.  The plan was passed and accepted in 2010.  We calculated and estimated how much waste was to be made within a 50-year plan for the local dumpsite.  We also made plans of how the dumpsite would be managed to last years.  We also strongly focused on our subsistence lands and waters to keep clean for our future generations.  Erosion is also a top focus within the IGAP department.

I look forward to working with the Native Village of Georgetown Environmental department and excited to be learning environmental issues within our lands.

Thanks.

Fredrika
