Episode 1 - Earthjustice

Earthjustice is a non-profit environmental law firm representing several Tribes and an NGO opposed to the Donlin Gold mine. Olivia Glasscock, a senior associate attorney, provided an overview of the proposed plan for the mine, the permitting process, and why Earthjustice’s clients have been challenging the mine in court and administrative processes.

Olivia Glasscock

Olivia is a senior associate attorney based in the Earthjustice Alaska office in Juneau. Olivia graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was the managing editor of the Virginia Environmental Law Journal. Olivia hails from Auburn, Alabama, and has always been passionate about environmental stewardship and conservation biology. Some of the Nation’s most important resources and vulnerable communities are in Alaska, and she is humbled to have the opportunity to work to protect them.
