The Kuskokwim River Drainage, Alaska: An Annotated Bibliography

Wendell H. Oswalt was an anthropology professor who traveled extensively across Alaska. In 1965, he compiled an annotated bibliography - a list of books and reports with notes about the information contained. The list is a good starting point to identify written on material on Georgetown.

Interestingly, Oswalt notes that “unquestionably, there exist in the Library of Congress and in the National Archives, as well as in the archives in the Soviet Union [Russia], materials pertaining to the Kuskokwim which are not included in this bibliography.”
